Description: Minnesota shell Fusconaia flava "Wabash Pigtoe" river mussel Fusconaia flava "Wabash Pigtoe" Taken dead on October 8th, 2024 during a morning hike along the St. Croix River in Interstate Park, Minnesota. I usually collect shells and have never sold them before. Found a good deposit of these Pigtoes during a hike recently. Keeping a handful for my collection. Since Minnesota shells are relatively rare as a locality for collectors, I thought I'd put a few out there to see if the rest of the collecting community has interest. Cleaned them with tap water. Nothing more. Will come with a provenance label stating the data listed above, as well as a photo of the river I took (just for fun) that same morning. Please ask questions before buying.
