Description: Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Minton Lady Rodney (Cream Rim) Single (1) Bread & Butter Plate. At the time this listing was written, multiple place setting pieces, extra pieces, and serving pieces were available in this pattern, so be sure and check out my many other lots! The following pieces are included in each set: 1 – Tea Cup Saucer – 5.625” in diameter 1 – Flat Tea Cup – 2.25” in height The pieces in the set are marked with the following backstamp: “Mintons, Est. 1793, Lady Rodney, Made in England.” Some pieces in the set may have a slight variation in the backstamp. The plate has a cream base with an aqua/blue buds on green vines pattern, in addition to a gold rim and verge. The status of the pattern is unknown with the years of manufacture also unknown. Condition: Overall, the flat tea cups & saucers are in very good, lightly used condition. The pieces may show signs of light wear on the gold rim/verge and may have utensil markings, age spots/staining, and/or cleaning scratches. The scratches/age spots/staining are not extremely deep, or large and noticeable, and I do not feel that the condition of the pieces have been compromised significantly due to these imperfections. The pieces may also have some slight variation in the intensity of color between the pieces. The flat tea cups & saucers were acquired as part of a much larger set with little history known; however, no major condition issues were noticed upon a thorough inspection.
