Description: This auction is for the hardcover book "Miracle on 34th Street" by Valentine Davies. It was published in 1947. The DJ is protected by a mylar cover. There is chipping at the spine both at the bottom and the top and the front right corner of the DJ. See images. The inner first page has a very small library stamp, but it is the only library marking in the whole book. See image. The title page has the previous owner's raised embossed initials. See image. Please note on the copyright page it has "Printed in the United States of America" which is different than other versions. On the inner back cover flap, there is a section in the lower left that is different than other versions. See image. The back cover of the DJ has an advertisement for the picture/film. This is also different than some versions of the book. The film and the book were released at the same time according to my research. Binding is tight. Pages have no noted tears or writing on them.
