Description: This vintage real photo postcard features pretty stage actress, Miriam Clements. She made her stage debut in England in 1893. She appeared in Dion Boucicault's "The Octaroon". That same year she played Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet". In 1900 she played Hippolyta in "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Her last performance in a play by Shakespeare was as Hero in "Much Ado About Nothing" (1905). Clements appeared in two Broadway productions. She appeared in "Discovering America" (1912) and "The Amazons" (1913). Clements was married to Major Cecil Ainsley Walker-Leigh. This postcard was published by Rotary Photo as part of a series (No.1510H). This postcard is of British origin. The postcard has a crease in the bottom right hand corner and is in overall good condition (see scans).
