Spine Lining Recovered from a Binding. 9 Lines Condition: Very Good A late 12th to early 13th century leaf fragment, from a Missal, written in Latin, and produced in Germany, in a late Carolingian-Gothic (proto-gothic) script. There are some musical neumes present. This manuscript was once used as binder’s waste, saved from a bookbinding, and used as a spine lining, as is evident with the shape of the fragment. This manuscript fragment is written in a 9-line two-column format. One manuscript on parchment, 7.6 x 19.9 cm This manuscript is in very good shape, with some rubbing and old staining to the parchment.I typically ship within 1-2 business days of receiving payment.
