Description: *****See my other auctions for more great historic items!***** Vintage Modernist Oscar's 950 Sterling Blue Morpho Labradorite Adjustable Cocktail Statement Ring size 8.5 ~ 16.63 grams Description: We're excited to offer this amazing 950 silver (better than sterling) gem-grade labradorite modernist ring, circa 1970s - 1980s. We attempted to research "Oscar's 950 jewelry" but came up short. One thing is for sure - they are NOT common & everything they make is if the HIGHEST SUPERB QUALITY!!! Some sellers call it Native American, but it could also be Mexican. It has a cool modernist vibe and a very amazingly stunning LARGE shimmering iridescent orange & blue morpho (butterfly wing appearance) Labradorite stone of the highest quality. This Labradorite is amazing in color with its variations of light and dark and the matrix -- just look at the photos. It's bezel-set in this abstract trapezoid setting with black shadowbox enamel surrounding it, showcasing its color. The LARGE trapezoidal Labradorite stone measures approx 3/4" X 5/8" and the ring has an adjustable finger loop. All modernist non-symmetrical shapes with everything slightly out-of-square &/or out-of-round. Some slight minor age tarnish remains as seen in photos - leaving to new owner to polish further to perfection if so desired but fine as-is. MINTY overall condition!
