It shares some components from the UDP-205 unit, but also has major upgrades over any others out there. Silver wire between tube board and stereo analog outputs (both RCA and XLR), Upgrades capacitors, upgraded tubes on both the main unit and the tube power supply. Has been fully reflashed with firmware that allows you to play iso files, including SACD iso files. Main unit includes original box, remote and all manuals. Includes hard drive to backup files on. Includes SACD iso files (see 16th picture), but you will need to delete those files if you don't own the original SACD's. Upgraded rectifier tube on the power supply to maximize the purity of the power going to the main unit tubes (much larger than original) Upgraded silver wire between Tube board and main stereo outputs (RCA and XLR) Modded firmware that allows for all of the original firmware functions but also allows for playback of any iso file via USB, LAN or wifi, removes all region codes and allows assignable region control, removes cinavia, AVCHD playback over LAN and BDMV 2d/3d playback (being able to access media files, including iso files, via network or hard drive is an awesome bonus) Upgraded power cords for both the main unit and the power supply unit. This is a rare unicorn with amazing sound and functionality. The original Modwright version alone received several awards and this unit takes it to another level.
