MONARCH MODEL PREWAR CUSTOM BUILD HALF BELT GOAT HIDE RUSSET LEATHER JACKET NICE

Description: This is a custom size close to a 42 regular prewar 1930s Monarch Mfg. type reproduction Half Belt Goat hide "Russet" reddish-brown Leather Jacket. The jacket was custom made to order by David Sheeley Reproduction Built, he's been making custom Vintage style Monarch Leather Jacket for years and selling them on eBay thru special orders with a 6-month waiting period to receive a custom jacket. He uses the same type materials in his Monarch jackets like they use by Monarch back in the day. The body lining is medium weight wool 10 oz. Plaid Twill with an inside pocket for your cell phone. The jacket has a solid brown colored rayon sleeve's lining with inset 100% wool cuffs in the sleeves. Also has adjustable belt at the wrist area and lower back area. All as originally done by Monarch back in the day. This particular model Monarch jacket was in fact their first model to have come equipped with a zipper for closure. This jacket was purchased by me several years ago for $1,275.00 (see LAST photo) from David Sheeley thru eBay that he made for a customer that couldn't wait for the jacket to get finish. The jacket was close to my measurement, so I purchase the jacket. Since purchasing the jacket, I've worn the jacket sparingly over the years I've owned it. The jacket looks the same as when I received it, the Talon front zipper works perfect as does the horizontal Talon chest pocket zipper with chain pull. Inside the pockets looks perfect with no marking anywhere. There are no odors. All structural stitch work is present and robust. The hide is in very good shape with no holes or tears or wear. The lining has no tears or wear in the main lining or inside sleeves area. You would be hard pressed to find a used condition custom jacket like this one in this condition and pricing. This was a custom-built jacket that is close to a size 42 regular, there is no size label in jacket, so go by measurements.The measurements are as follows with jacket zippered up:Shoulder width: 19 1/4"Pit-to-Pit: 22"Bottom of front jacket hem: 23"Sleeve length: 24 1/2" from shoulder to hem.Front length: 22 1/2" from top of zipper to hem.Back length: 25 1/2" from bottom of collar to hem.
