This stunning, original 1970s vintage Monet necklace ranks sky high as a fabulous statement piece with its bold assertive V shaped design and oversized pendant. This necklace is gold plated, textured and art deco-Egyptian Revival inspired. Original 1970s piece designed by Monet lead designer Elda Krecic and produced in 1972. This incredible necklace is a fabulous high quality example of Monet during this era and then considered a premium piece, commanding a substantial retail price. The necklace is in very good preowned vintage original condition. There is some wear to the plating on the smooth square sections- it appears almost like hairspray residue, but does not wipe clean. See photos. It measures about 16" in length with a 2" extender and hook clasp closure. The pendant measures a dramatic 3.75" long by 3.3" wide, signed Monet with hangtag.
