Description: This magnificent limited edition pen was released by Montegrappa in 2000 to celebrate the highlights of human civilization, such as law and art. The body is made of a particularly chatoyant celluloid with a sterling silver sleeve and trim. It is # 831 of the 1912 pens made. Though I am listing it as a used pen, I am the only one who has ever owned it. I bought it in Harrod’s in London in 2002 for more than £4,400 and never used it. Though the booklet and guarantee come with it, the cigar ashtray box is no longer with me. This pen, a piece of art in itself, is a smooth piston filler with enormous ink capacity and it comes with the original limited edition bicolored 18k gold nib. I wish I did not have to offer it for sale, as it has the scales of justice on the cap finial, and I am a small-time lawyer. However, I hope to place it in a new, appreciative home.
