The near centenarian is in only in fair condition.It has been restored, brushed to the solid copper and bronze base and looks nice.It has been air tested (video). If you plan to use it with steam, be prepared to replace the gaskets all around.The electric heating element warms up using the electric cord that is provided. Things to report : - There are quite a few bumps on the top of the boiler (photos). It does not affect the operation as the boiler is made of heavy gauge solid copper. - Only the body of the whistle is original. The dome and the handle are not and the whistle is not operational. That was 65 years ago. I have been collecting them for 25 years and I am now 74. None of my descendants is interested in the collection, so I decided that it was time to liquidate.
