Description: Tall cylinder vase was made for the Metropolitan Museum by Vista Alegre Mottahedeh in Portugal. Decoration Adapted From a Chinese Bowl, K’ang Hsi Period(1662-1722) along with a company stamp. Famille verte decoration, painted in transparent enamel colors predominantly in shades of green. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restrictions. It measures approximately 5” in diameter at the top, 11 1/8” tall, 3 1/2” in diameter at the base.
