Description: Recently acquired from a local estate is this antique hard cover book entitled “Mr. And Mrs. Spoopendyke” by Stanley Huntley, W. B. Smith & Co, New York, copyright 1881, apparently a first edition. The book measures 5 1/4” x 6 3/4” and has 156 pages. Condition: generally pretty good. There is some partial separation along the gutter of the title page and there are some brown marks on the dedication page as well as on the two pages where an old newspaper clipping was stored. The cover has some very minor edge wear and there is some very minor wear to the fore-edge. A previous owner’s name is handwritten on the first blank page in the book, and an old handwritten price is located inside the front cover. See my other eBay listings for more items.
