From 1996!! Does not get too much earlier than this. One of the early plated aluminum sets! You are looking at a really cool O gauge smooth 70' streamlined aluminum passenger car set. This Atlantic Coast Line streamlined passenger set was in the 1996 Spring Premier catalog. This was one of the first passenger sets MTH issued. In those early days, MTH issued 12 of these factory painted or PLATED aluminum passenger sets that were closer to the classic Lionel or Williams aluminum cars than the later ABS plastic cars. SPECIAL FUN FACT: Even though the ends of the box state that these are 15" cars they are actually 18" cars! This set features cars #150 Railway Express Agency Baggage , Ashley River Pullman coach, Northhampton Pullman coach, Edisto Island Pullman coach 252 Pullman observation Note that these cars are different from the painted version, 20-6500 of the set (also available in our other listings).
