Offered for sale is a limited production and uncatalogued MTH Rail King "O" Gauge #30-77339 Union Railroad (Car #1976) Bay Window Caboose which was delivered in 2019. It is in Factory New/Brand New condition: all original and unused, but it may have been test run at the factory. THE CONDITION OF THIS CABOOSE IS BASED ON APPEARANCE ONLY, AND I DID NOT TEST IT FOR OPERATING PERFORMANCE. This very attractive Union Railroad Caboose has a dark blue roof, a white body with blue and red stripes, white car ends with black ladders, and it has clean, crisp and realistic Union Railroad emblems, lettering and markings. It is 10.5 inches long, and it comes with overhead interior illumination, a detailed ABS plastic body, an attractive and colorful paint scheme, die-cast metal four wheel trucks, metal wheels and axles, separate metal hand rails, decorative brake wheels, fast-angle wheel sets, needle-point axles and with operating die-cast metal couplers. It also comes with a clean and complete, original MTH window box that shows a car number of #1996, but the number on the car is #1976. And, the MTH website shows a photo of the car with the #1776, so who really knows what the correct car number was supposed to be?? The box shows some wear on the box corners, the box seams and the end flap corners and edges, but otherwise it is a nice, whole box. This sharp-looking Union Railroad Bay Window Caboose would look just great at the end of a MTH freight train, and it would be a most welcome addition to any collection or operating railroad!
