Description: AN EXCEPTIONALLY WELL MAINTAINED DEVILBISS ATOMIZER FROM THE MID 1950'S TO 1960'S WITH ORIGINAL PARTS AND BOOKLET IDENTIFYING IT AS A MURANO PIECE. AT THIS TIME, VIRTUALLY ALL OF THE MURANO PIECES UTILIZED BY DEVILBISS WERE MADE BY ARCHIMEDE SEGUSO. THIS PIECE WILL HAVE THE BOTTLE AND TWO OTHER PARTS WRAPPED SEPARATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE SQUEEZE BULB, WHICH IS ORIGINAL AND IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. THE BOOKLET HAS SIX PRINTED PAGES PLUS COVERS AND HAS SOME CURLING, CREASING AND LIGHT SOILING. THERE IS SOME WEAR TO THE THREE PAPER LABELS ON THE BOTTLE ITSELF. THE DEVILBISS LABEL ON BOTTOM SHOWS WEAR, WHILE THE ONE ON THE SIDE OF THE BASE IS IN EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION. AT THE TOP OF THE BOTTLE IS AN OVAL "HAND-BLOWN GLASS" LABEL THAT LOOKS AS THOUGH IT MAY HAVE CHIPPED AND BEEN HAD CHIPPED PIECE PUT BACK ON BY SOMEONE WITH POOR EYE SIGHT AS IT DOES NOT ALL LINE UP. THE BRASS IS IN EXCELLENT BUT NOT PERFECT CONDITION WITH LIGHT EVIDENCE OF WEAR AND MINOR PITTING. THERE ARE NO ARCHIMEDE SEGUSO LABELS SO I CANNOT BE CERTAIN THAT THIS IS HIS WORK. PLEASE NOTE THE LAST THREE PHOTOS:. While the cloth around the bulb and around the hose are in very good condition, the hose itself is broken beneath the cloth at the point where the bulb meets it and, practically speaking, it could not be utilized as an atomizer at this time without replacement of that hose. 70 year old rubber does not hold up The glass itself appears to be as nice as one could hope for. I found no issues with the glass. I found no scratches. The pulegoso style is very uncommon in the Devilbiss atomizers. SINCE GLASS IS SUCH A PAIN IN THE BUTT TO DESCRIBE PERFECTLY, I WILL ACCEPT RETURNS ON THIS BUT SHIPPING IS ON THE PURCHASER.
