Description: SPACE TUG by MURRAY LEINSTER. Belmont 1965. 1st paperback edition. Our heroes must supply a space station, which is in danger in wartime. This novel was first published by Shasta in 1953. Leinster (real name, Will F. Jenkins) was a remarkably adaptive writer who sold his first story to THE SMART SET in 1916 and his first science fiction story to ARGOSY in 1919, but was still able to publish up to about 1970. He is best known for "First Contact," which founded what is as much of a subgenre in SF as the locked-room story is in mysteries, and for "Sidewise in Time," the first major parallel time-track story. Always happy to combine shipments on multiple wins. Please note that the foreign postage prices are a guess. If they prove too high, I will refund the difference.
