Art by Jim Lee, Alan Davis Here is a comic book store promotional poster sent from Marvel in 1991 directly to the comic book store. It was advertising the upcoming series. This poster was not for sale to the public. It is 36” by 13.5”. It’s tall (3 feet) and skinny (almost 2feet). My local store owner gave it to me way back when. I foolishly tacked it to my closet door where it looked so cool. It is not perfect. There are thumbtack holes in the corners and there is a minor tear or two that appears on the fold. It has been stored for 33 years and unfortunately does show some wear. It sure is great tho’. It features all the popular X-guys (X-Men, X-Force, X-Force, and even Excalibur) plus it features guys like Wolverine, Rogue, and Angel to name a few. The art work is featured by biggies such as Jim Lee and Alan Davis. I wish I could photograph this better but its so darn long. I did the best I could. I realize it’s far from perfect but the damage is really very minor and will not affect how it will look once you hang it. Consequently, my price reflects the small issues. I will mail this poster to you, in a strong envelope, which is the same way it was originally mailed out from Marvel to the comic book shop. I’ll wrap it well along with a rigid backing board to prevent any bending as it travels your way.
