Description: Napoleonic Wars British Pattern 1796 Infantry Officers Spadroon Sword. No maker marks. The grip and pommel are tight, the guard is a little loose when the guard is folded down. The backside of the guard folds downward smoothly. The blued etched blade is straight, unsharpened, the tip is a little sharp, some nicks, and it has some pitting spots scattered throughout. No scabbard. Length of the blade is 32" (1 1/16" wide and 1/4" thick), and the sword is 38 7/16". Check out my other War items!! Including More Swords and Many Bayonets!!
