Description: If you are a space nerd like me, you want to have space related items around you at all times. While your boss may not approve of you having a large scale model of the Mercury Redstone on your desk, you can now have a beautiful replica in your office that can actually help out with all of that paperwork! This is a Mercury Redstone Inspired working ink pen that will look great on your desk. I designed the pen from scratch, producing the artwork for the pen in a graphics program. I did my best to capture all of the beautiful detail that existed on the real rocket and spacecraft. While it may be hard to see in the pics, there is also a Mercury Capsule at the top with windows, "UNITED STATES", and other small details including the "FREEDOM 7" logo. When the artwork was complete, I then had the pens professionally made into the beautiful piece that you see in the pics. These pens are very similar to other Space Race pens that you may have seen, but at a fraction of the cost. This is a high quality all plastic pen, and writes beautifully!
