Description: This is a never-been-opened Racing Champions 1995 Premier Edition #28 diecast of the Robert Yates Racing Ford Thuderbird, driven by Dale Jarrett. After the 1993 death of Davey Allison who famously drove the Yates 28 Texaco Havoline to so much success, Ernie Irvan was hired to fill that position. Unfortunately, Ernie was seriously injured in a practice crash in 1994. Dale Jarrett was hired to drive the 28 in 1995, so this is his inaugural year with Robert Yates team.
