Description: Nativity Set Vintage 15 Figures (Bethlehem) creche...My wife's grandmother (from Sweden, since deceased) made two of these mangers (yes, we're keeping one) and then ordered the Nativity sets from Bethlehem back in the mid-1950's...the photo shows she made the mangers from wooden Digior??? boxes as she worked in school kitchens back then...my wife (73) can remember "playing" with these as a little girl at her paternal grandmother's house...the workmanship is a subtle carving style that gives a great impression of the scene...My wife hopes some grandmother or mother needs one of these for their little girl (or boy)...
