Description: For your viewing pleasure today I am listing a wonderful little quarter-pint pocket flask. Two different patterns on this flask are divided by a line of embossing around the middle. Description: The bottom of the mold is a cross-hatched four and six-star design divided by a line of embossing around the middle " THE A. COBURN & CO.". Above is a faceted, parallel, fluted design. The embossing has been highlighted with white paint which will wash off. Height: 4 7/8"Lip: Nice tooled double collar lip.Base: Smooth base. Color: Clear with a faint purple tingeCondition: Near Mint. No cracks, scratches, chips, or dings. A tiny bit of opaque internal stain, not really noticeable. Very hard to see. ( last picture)Remarks: Nice example.1890-1903. This is a quarter-pint bottle. Some small bubbles in the glass. The bottle would turn purple if desired. A great addition to a flask collection. I haven't seen this one before, unsure of its rarity. Certainly a unique mold. Pumpkin seeds are hard to find with designs and embossed. Might be from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania? A mustard company (A. COLEBURN) was in business there from the 1850s to the 1930s. Perhaps a Christmas gift for favorite employees? If so, probably pretty rare. NICE FRONT ROW BOTTLE !!!!!!! RIGHT OUT OF MY COLLECTION...........grab it while you can!!!!!!////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// I have been collecting, digging, and selling old bottles for 53 years. I have sold previously on eBay by the seller name "Bottlesam" I stopped selling in 2015. I have sold hundreds of bottles on eBay with all number 5's in ratings. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I cannot retain my old selling name. I have started to sell again under the seller name Bottlesam1. I will be selling a large assortment of antique bottles and collectibles on eBay. Please select me as a favorite seller. Money back guarantee minus return postage for undescribed damage. Some of my bottles are dug and any major damage will be noted. However, many are attic mint, and a very few have been tumbled. I do not consider in-making flaws to be damage but I will try to mention it in the description. I will try to be as close as I can with the postage and shipping charges. I don't try to make any extra money shipping your purchases. Multiple purchases may be combined in one box. I will refund any large differences between actual vs. estimated cost.
