Description: Softcover, June 1928, 32 pages. Has been stored, reasonable condition for its age, text and pictures are clear and readable, shows signs of use and wear. This magazine, and others like it, is what many of our grandmothers, great-grandmothers and even great-great-grandmothers looked forward to receiving in the post or at the local news agents shop for their needlework projects. The advertisements are quite entertaining as well, showing products by companies suited to their needs and wants of the time.We've recently received some boxes of books and publications that were from an auction more than 20 years ago. There's a large amount of them, some quite old, with a wealth of information both practical and historical. We will be listing them, as well as other more contemporary ones. Please bear in mind that these books have been stored for a long time, some over 50 years, so their condition is not pristine. Most are in reasonably good condition but some have fading, foxing and discoloration. I hope you'll find some you like. If you are looking for a particular book please let me know. We've been sorting through boxes and bins of various other things that have been stored for quite some time. We've found charts, threads, fabrics, needlework accessories, as well as cat related items, gifts and other items. We also have recently been given a household full of some very lovely, interesting and unusual things which I'll be listing for sale. All proceeds from the sale will benefit P.A.W.S.
