Description: Nepenthes rajah Nepenthes rajah is from Borneo. In nature baby monkeys are knows to have drown in the traps! This doesn’t need much of an introduction as it’s a highly prized plant. Plant is 18” in diameter and about 12” tall a large clay pot. It is at least 23 years old. It has the potential to produce 2 new pitcher through the rest of the summer in ideal Conditions, which are highland tropical with good light. Two of pitchers on the oldest leaves may not develop as they have been sitting there for sometime. The last pitcher produced was back in July of ‘22. This was when it was repotted. The reason for this winters are long here. This plant seems to put on growth when dat time temperatures warm into the mid 70s. You can see the root development is quite nice. Please do not message me and tell me how to grow the plant, I’ve had it for 23 years. I’ve already had one person message saying the plant is not well. Calm down and grow your own plants. I’m sure they are quite the experts! Anyhow gripe over. The plant seems to have slowed when I repotted it. For this reason I would prefer local pick up to the Seattle area. Shipping can be arranged it will be shipped bareroot and must be unpotted and insurance purchased. To be paid by the buyer. Please be an experienced and informed buyer when purchasing any plants. Ask questions when clarity is needed. Good Growing! Shipping can be held if conditions are too hot where you are at. Absolutely no refunds. In the case of damage in transit it must be reported in 12 hours of receipt, at which point I will Initiate a claim with the shipping service.
