These remotes are a direct replacement to the basic remote that comes with many of their remote starter kits. As such they boast the same functionality and range of up to 1,500 feet. Compatible with the following Compustar remote starters: CM-DC3 RS1B & RS1B2, CM-X, CM2305-A, CM2500, CM7000-AS, CM7200-S, CM900-AS, CM900-S, CM-900X, CMBMXA0, CMVWXA0, as well as the SmartKey Starter® for Mercedes-Benz. Compatible with these Compustar antennas (available in our other listings): ANT-1WAM & ANT-AP Printed instructions for pairing the remotes is included for your convenience. Up to four remotes may be paired to these units at any given time. Make sure to have all remotes present during the pairing process. BE ADVISED. These are an AM style remote that only work with the standard AM antennas that came with the kits. If you have upgraded the antenna that originally came with the system to an FM style that allows for two-way remotes to be used, you will not be able to pair these to your current antenna.
