Description: Unused Alexander Julian unisex eyeglass frames, with prescription progressive lenses, purchased in the mid 2000s. The metal frame and arms have an antique bronze color. Print on one arm reads "COLOURS 103 Antique Bronze 140". The other arm reads "140 COLOURS by ALEXANDER JULIAN". Under the nose guard is printed "50-20". The lenses cost over $300 in addition to the frames. They are Zeiss GT2 progressive (no line), polycarbonate (thermoplastic that is thin, lightweight, offers built-in UV protection and is impact resistant) lenses with Zeiss Duravision Chrome coatings (glare reduction, easy cleaning and scratch resistance). The diopter strength of the prescription lenses is approximately +2.50 for distance, and +2.00 for reading. The eyeglasses will be shipped in the premium hardshell eyeglass case pictured. At a previous employer I enjoyed the unusual benefit of 2 free eyeglass frames and lenses every year. Most years I got new frames with high quality prescription lenses, but I continued to use the same Calvin Klein glasses I had for years.
