Ben won the AMA Formula Extreme and the AMA Superbike Race at Laguna Seca in 2005!! In 2008 - Scored six wins in 11 races and finished out of the top three just once to win the AMA Pro SuperSport Championship for Graves Yamaha on a YZF-R6. In 2007 - Raced in Superstock, earning six podium finishes and second in the championship. Earned a season-best 11th at Laguna Seca in a limited AMA Pro Superbike schedule. Raced for Graves Yamaha. In 2006 - Raced in the AMA Pro Superbike Championship, earning a podium finish at Miller Motorsports Park and an additional top-five finish at the October Mid-Ohio race. Raced for the Parts Unlimited Ducati team. In 2005 - Raced in the World Superbike Championship with the Renegade Honda team. In 2004 - Won the AMA Pro Superbike race at Laguna Seca and earned five additional series podium finishes to take fourth in the season championship. Also raced in Formula Xtreme, winning at Laguna and finishing second at Daytona while racing with American Honda. Won the gold medal in the inaugural Supermoto competition at the X-Games. In 2003 - Earned six AMA Pro Superbike podium finishes, including second at the Daytona season opener and finished fourth in the points championship. Also ran select rounds of the AMA Pro SuperSport Championship with a best finish of sixth at Laguna Seca. Captured the AMA Pro Supermoto Championship. Raced with American Honda team. In 2002- Competed in the World Superbike Championship with the L&M Ducati team and finished fifth in the championship. In 2001 - Finished third in the World Superbike Championship. In 2000 - Finished seventh in first full season of World Superbike with two podium finishes. Also ran the AMA Pro Superbike race at Willow Springs. In 1999 - Won the U.S. round of the World Superbike Championship at Laguna Seca. Also took the AMA Pro Superbike win at Brainerd and six additional podium finishes in defense of his championship, ultimately finishing just 10 points behind 1999 AMA Pro Superbike Champ Mat Mladin. Rode with Vance & Hines Ducati and it was announced before the end of the year that he would race with the Ducati World Superbike team for 2000. In 1998 - Won the 1998 AMA Pro Superbike Championship, finishing outside the top-five just twice all season and taking podium finishes in both rounds of the Road Atlanta “Big Kahuna” doubleheader, Road America and the season finale at Las Vegas. Also contested the AMA 600 SuperSport series, taking the series win at Road Atlanta and a podium finish at New Hampshire. Nominated for AMA/SPEED Athlete of the Year Award. Raced with American Honda. In 1997 - Ran in the 750 SuperSport Series and had four podium finishes as well as three top-10 finishes in AMA Pro Superbike. Also raced in 600 SuperSport with a best finish of fourth at Phoenix. Rode for Zero Gravity Racing. In 1996 - Won five SuperTwins finals and was just barely beaten out for the title by Matt Wait, finishing either first or second in every race except Loudon. Earned three podium finishes in th3 600 SuperSport class. Raced for Zero Gravity Honda and Bartel’s Harley-Davidson. In 1995 - Raced for Bartel’s Harley-Davidson in SuperTwins, winning his first AMA National in the SuperTwins finale at Firebird. Also scored a third-place finish in the 750 SuperSport finale at Firebird on a Honda CBR600. In 1994 - Best results came at Road Atlanta and Laguna Seca with 10th-place finishes in the Harley SuperTwins finals. In 1993 - Scored his first AMA National points in road racing with a 27th-place finish in the Harley SuperTwins finale at Daytona. Named AMA Flat Track Rookie of the Year. Early Career - Turned pro in 1990. First achieved success dirt racing in AMA Flat Track as a teenager. In 2003, Ben got second place in the Daytona 200 on a RC51, and contested the Supersport race in Daytona aboard a 2003 Honda 600RR. This year in 2004, he started the Daytona 200 second alongside his brother Eric the 2004 Rolex pole Award winner. Eric is racing a Factory Corse Ducati 999 sponsored by Parts Unlimited. Ben raced a Ducati 998 in World Superbike with L&M Ducati and beat other riders like Troy Bayliss(Ducati), Nori Haga(Aprilia), Colin Edwards(Honda), Ruben Xaus, and Neil Hodgson. He was among the favorites at Laguna Seca 2002, when the AMA riders like Miguel Duhamel, Nicky Hayden, Kurtis Roberts, Anthony Gobert, Eric Bostrom, Mladin, Yates, and Hacking all raced as wildcards in the WSBK races.
