It originally started in 2003 as a solo project by Jari Maaempaa, who was a member of Ensiferum at the time. They quickly signed a contract with the major German label Nuclear Blast, and released their debut album in 2004. Jari played all the parts except for the drums on this album. In 2006, they started working on their second album, [Time I], but stopped it the following year in 2007. It was not until 2012, five years later, that this album finally saw the light of day. This album was a huge success, ranking second on the charts in their home country of Finland. [Time II] was planned to follow, but the third album, released in 2017, five years later, was titled [The Forest Seasons]. It's been seven years since then. [Time II] is finally being released.
