The attention to detail, that the Brighton designers have given them, is wonderful. The sun is about the size of a nickel, with 8 curled rays and an expressive face. On the backs of the charms (see pic 3) is engraved "The Sunshine State" (for 'Florida', since these charms came off a Brighton Florida charm bracelet). But you can't really see the backs of the earrings when you are wearing them, so the only message here is a happy, smiling Sun. The entire drop is 1 1/2 ". The Sun measures 3/4" across at its widest point. The wires are genuine Sterling Silver. The earrings are the perfect size. Not too big and not too small. And not too heavy. They are comfortable to wear. They come with little, clear, rubber earring 'nuts' that go on the wire to prevent loss. (not pictured) (If you prefer 'Euro-wire', also known as 'Lever-back' earring wires, I can substitute silver-plated Euro-wires for you. See pic # 4.
