About this Pipe: When briar was unobtainable due to World War 2, pipe makers needed to source other woods that did well for pipe smoking and they used Beechwood for this purpose. In recognition of those times and for the beauty of the wood and grain, these pipes are unique and will make a great addition to any collection as well as a good conversation piece. They’re affordable and look great with a brass band and drilled to accept 9mm filters. I acquired a couple in bent and straight and that’s it for me. These are cool pipes and I love Stanwell. This is the actual pipe you’ll receive and not an idea of one. It has to be home as I always need to be close to my son. - I am a stay-at-home dad for my special needs son who is amazing and my pride and joy. I almost always will ship the next business day. I put within 1-3 business days as sometimes on busier weeks, I’ll need an extra day to properly pack everything. I’ve never had an item arrive damaged. In most cases, I have a poly bag on top to make it rain resistant and a bit more secure. The exception is it the package is larger than standard.
