Description: Up for sale is a brand new, unused, KNOCK SENSOR PIGTAIL CONNECTOR HARNESS PLUG LEAD for 2003-2007 HONDA ACCORD, EXL LX, GX, EX, WITH 2.4L (4 CYLINDER) ENGINES. IT WILL NOT THE 3.0L (6 CYLINDER) OR HYBRID MODELS. It plugs into O.E. Honda knock sensor: 30530-PPL-A01, 30530-PNA-003 and also KS197, REPH311202, 1580917, 5S2320 and may fit other associated part numbers as well. Please contact us before ordering if you have any questions regarding the application of this pigtail harness. This is the single lead (male) pigtail harness that plugs into the knock sensor. Long term exposure to the elements tends to cause the plastic on the original pigtail to become brittle and crack/break. This replacement pigtail can resolve this issue. Please be sure to use sufficient pressure with the crimping tool to ensure tight crimps on the ends of both wires being joined. To verify that the new pigtail harness has been properly attached, use a fair amount of force to pull on both sides of the butt connector simultaneously. (USE ABOUT THE SAME AMOUNT OF FORCE AS YOU USE WHEN TYING YOUR SHOELACES). The newly crimped ends should not give any slack at all. If the wire(s) begin to pull out away from the butt connector, cut the butt connector off and repeat the process with a new butt connector and make sure to impose sufficient force on the new butt connector with the crimping tool. The pigtail harness carries a 10 YEAR WARRANTY against defects in workmanship and materials. No warranty on labor or other associated costs.
