NOTE: I JUST RECENTLY FOUND A TOOL, THAT ALLOWS ME TO MEASURE A PUTTER SHAFT FOR TORQUE, THIS IS THE AMOUNT THE SHAFT WILL TWIST AT IMPACT & WHICH CAUSES THE SHAFT TO OPEN UP & ALSO ADD LOFT, SO HERE IS WHAT I FOUND OUT, THE BGT STABILITY SHAFTS INDEED HAVE ONLY 1 DEGREE OF TORQUE, AS STATED, NEXT IS THE AFTERMARKET KBS ONE PIECE TAPERED STEEL SHAFTS THAT HAVE 2.8 DEGREES, THIS ALSO INCLUDES THE OTHER HEAVY ONE-PIECE TAPERED STEEL SHAFTS, ALTHOUGH I DID HAVE A NEW APOLLO ONE PIECE TAPERED SHAFT THAT WAS A LITTLE BIT HIGHER AT 3.0 DEGREES, THE NEW T/M FLUTED FEEL PUTTER SHAFTS HAVE 3.8 DEGREES, THE KBS & SEVERAL OTHER STEPPED STEEL PUTTER SHAFTS, LIKE THE OLDER TM SPIDER SHAFTS WERE 3.2-3.4 DEGREES & THE ODYSSEY STROKE LAB PUTTER SHAFTS HAD THE HIGHEST TORQUE AT 3.9-4.0 DEGREES DEPENDING ON THE LENGTH OF THE STEEL TIP, THESE SHAFTS HAVE A SMALL GRAPHITE PIECE INSERTED INTO THE GRAPHITE UPPER SECTION & EPOXIED TO THE STEEL TIP, I SUSPECT THIS METHOD OF COMBINING THE UPPER SECTION TO THE LOWER STEEL TIP SECTION, CAUSES A LOT OF THIS HIGH TORQUE. NOTE: THIS PRICE, 425.00 is for this Brand New, still in plastic, Taylormade Left Handed Spider EX white/black #3 Slant Neck, putter, with the Brand New SPECIAL EDITION MASTER'S BGT Stability Tour Pearl White "M" version, Composite putter shaft installed, that is built with Toray Graphite & Carbon Fiber, in the Master's Edition which sells for 495.00 by itself, shown in the pictures & it is uncut & long enough to play up to 41 inches, but I will trim it to the buyers specs upon purchase. The slight 29 degree, toe down model, with the Super Stroke Taylormade 1.0 putter grip still in plastic, installed but I will have to remove the plastic to install it on the new shaft. Shipped with priority mail or ground advantage shipping, or if the buyer wants one of the other colored Tour 2 shafts instead, for the same price. This new putter installed with the Tour Polar White or Tour Cobalt Blue, instead of the Master's version, then the price would be 385.00, I also have all of the other colors available in stock & they now are listed for 330.00 and come in Tour Ghost Black, Tour Fire Red, Tour Polar White, or Tour Cobalt Blue or the New Tour Spec One Black fully graphite/carbon fiber putter shaft which I can also install on this NEW short #3 Slant neck, by using a small adapter to couple the Tour Spec One on the post or for 365.00 for the Stability Carbon Composite shaft, all with a new TaylorMade Super stroke putter grip, these BGT Stability putter shafts are a super upgrade over traditional steel putter shafts, check out BGT's website for more information, or a I mentioned above the best one piece tapered steel putter shafts has almost 3.0 degrees of torque. I have been selling & installing these great shafts in many customers putters & installing them on new & used putters I have listed for sale also, they are a great upgrade to further lower your scores as they don't open up at impact or add loft like traditional steel shafts do, have much lower torque than steel putter shafts, every player that I have installed these shafts on their putter has greatly improved their game & are blown away by the results, plus the shaft, gives great feedback during the stroke & prevents unwanted vibrations made during the stroke, these composite shafts are the newest innovations to come for putters & being seen on the Pro circuit. I presently have this putter shaft in my Taylormade Spider Center Shafted putter & am a 2 handicap golfer, as it has really helped my putting to further lower my scores, the putter comes with the stock weights & weighs 351 grams as is, but there are heavier weights available online for an upgrade fee if desired, being able to adjustweights in the putter is a great option to have, heavier weights will be needed to offset the heavier putter grips if those are installed at a later date or to help the player adjustto faster or slower greens, also by changingweights it can help the player putt better if they get in a slump & lose their stroke. This putter is not face balanced model, but the slight 29.5 degree toe down, model for a straight back, straight through stroke or for a slight inside to out Arc on putts that break from right to left, which is preferred by many Tour Pro's because it can be used both ways, I also have the same head but is white & Blue but is the single bend model, if the buyer wants a face balanced model. I also have many different aftermarket putter grips that I will install for an upgrade fee from Super Stroke, Golf Pride, Winn, Iomic & many others.
