Description: Brand new "Marbella" Block of the Month Quilt Kit featuring 3 Wishes Fabrics, with full-color instruction book. Kit has 12 1/4 yards of 100% premium cotton fabrics in coordinated shades of coral, blue, gray, taupe, white and red, to make a quilt top measuring 85" by 85". You provide 6 1/4 yards backing fabric plus batting to finish the quilt. Quilt's design has a large center "medallion" block surrounded by 12 star blocks and four corner blocks, plus borders around the medallion and binding around the quilt edge. Medallion and four of the star blocks are made by piecing plus applique; the other eight stars and the four corner blocks are all pieced. Designed by Laura Gilvin and produced by Fabric Editions, Inc. Instruction book is magazine-size (8 1/2" by 11"), 60 pages, divided into sections for each month with fabrics shown in color. Months 1 through 8 cover the medallion and blocks; months 9 and 10 are the borders and binding. There's also a section on enlarging the quilt. This is a great project or a very nice gift.
