Product Description: This offering is for a new-old-stock Italian made Ofmega Master threaded headset. It is an all chromoly steel model with a chrome finish that should be fairly durable for general use. I don't believe these are high end headsets and I am sure there are better quality current stock headsets that may be purchased for less money. Although, the value here may be in the rarity of the item for a vintage road bike that is intended to be more of a show piece than a daily rider. In terms of sizing, these models do have ISO standard dimensions, so a 25.4 mm steerer opening, which means it is compatible with a 1" threaded fork (24 threads per inch) and a stem with a diameter of 22.2 mm (or 7/8"). More specifically, the crown race inside diameter is 26.4 mm and the frame cup outside diameter (or said another way...the outside diameter of the head race sections that press into the head tube) is 30.2 mm. One quick comment regarding the crown race inside diameter...the labeling on the outside of the packaging of this headset indicates this measurement is 26.35 mm, which I believe to effectively be the same measurement as the 26.4 mm industry standard. The stack height (and we define stack height as the combined height of all visible headset components after being mounted on the fork and head tube) is a combined 43.0 mm (approximate per our digital calipers) and it weighs about 200 grams. As for condition, each unit is new and unused and includes it's original retail box. Although, these units are old, so the chroming is not going to be perfect, although still not too bad, and the untreated washer/spacer does show a fair amount of surface rust (as noted in the last picture).
