Description: This is a unused New old stock reel sold in the late 60’s by Sears under the Ted Williams name -which is essentially a Shakespeare Royal Red 2091 Reel with very suttle differences —you cannot remove the reel foot as on the Shakespeare —but all internal parts are interchangeable —I’m told this Reel has a protective cover on the bearing where as the Shakespeare does not - This Reel is flawless and works excellent -my late twin brother bought it New back in the 60’s and had it in a closet stored to be in his showcase but never had the case put up . This is a very rare find with the box and wrench and papers in this shape . Box and serial number on Reel are matching which makes this an extremely rare find.
