The Super Fly combines the simplicity and aerodynamics of a Moss wing with the protection of a tent. Two large zippable, vented top windows with visors give great ventilation. A permanent storm flap can be weighted with gear to secure the tent without stakes and also serves as an insect barrier when optional buckle-in floor is not used. This lightweight single-wall shelter utilizes a single aluminum pole to create a simple and aerodynamic design. ***NOTE FROM SELLER: I am the original owner of this tent. I’ve set it up in my basement for photos in order to keep it in pristine condition but when it's set up outside with the stakes in the ground the tent would obviously be much tauter. I've left the pole as-is and unused; the shock cord is functional but has lost some elasticity and could be replaced. I bought it new circa 2001 for a mountaineering trip that didn't happen, and it ended up never seeing the light of day. It has been stored in my gear closet, in the original box it came in, ever since. It has never been set up outside, and I never applied the factory supplied tube of seam grip. It comes with the optional clip in floor. It will make an awesome mountaineering or expedition tent. It's exactly like the Super Fly IV, but smaller and lighter, for two people.
