Description: This is a BRAND NEW Condition RARE (This is the only NEW one for sale in the World at time of first listing) Limited 1999 Reprint of an October, 1909 "Arroyo Craftsman" volume 1 number 1, published for the 90th anniversary of Judson Studios by Judson Studios Stained Glass. There were only 500 - 1000 of these printed, and the cover was printed letterpress on archival cover stock by an expert printer (me) because the head of Judson Studios wanted the cover to be exactly like the original periodical, both in colored ink and printed letterpress, which was entirely printed letterpress, but didn't want to print all the inside pages letterpress, and is not 'stamped' as some have said in other listings. It was printed by Mock Printing of South Pasadena (now gone, but had been in business probably for more than 70 years), the nearest letterpress printer at the time to Judson Studios. Judson's business cards, letterheads and envelopes were printed letterpress there, too. Unfortunately, the dark blue and yellow inks are cyan based, meaning it is poisonous, so don't let any children, older people or pets chew on it. The inside pages are printed offset on archival, acid free paper with non-toxic brown ink. The ink was made by Kramer Inks of Los Angeles, an expert non-fading ink maker. This is actually NOT an exact duplicate of the first issue. One change was made by Judson's Studios, but I will only reveal the change and its reason to the buyer. You will note that W. L.
