This is the Debut 7" 45 RPM vinyl record for Curtis, and was released in 1957, the same year as the Debut LP of Curtis ("New Trombone" on Prestige label). It is also an early mastering by Rudy Van Gelder, and the iconic "RVG" initials are on both sides of the deadwax matrixes. The mono playback is quite good - plays with an occasional click, but with no skips or sticking.
