New Uberti 1848 Baby Dragoon Cylinder Bolt/Stop

Description: This listing is for a Civil War era reproduction, produced in 2022, Uberti Baby Dragoon Model cylinder bolt. Listing includes a single blued steel(black in color) cylinder bolt/stop(for oval shaped cylinder notches)as shown. For use with the oval cylinder notches on the 1848 Baby Dragoon. Part #12 in Picture 2. The 1848 'Baby Dragoon' is the first of the 'pocket' sized versions of the Colt series of open top revolvers. It is about 2/3rds the size of an 1851/1860 series and uses a .31 caliber five shot cylinder. Next came the .31 caliber 1849 'Pocket' revolver with loading lever. Last of the series being the 'Police' and 'Pocket' models over bored to .36 caliber with superior steels. This part has been removed from a new revolver and is not in the original factory packaging. Some minor casting pits, chips, scratches, discoloration or surface rust is possible. The pictures shown are representative of the condition of item you will receive from this listing but may not be the exact item as I have several more available. You can expect your item to be in the same basic condition as the item shown. Approximate dimensions: overall height: 0.38"; length: 1.08"; width: 0.14". Will NOT work with any of the other Pocket Model series of revolvers. Not compatible with original Colts or other brand replicas. Manufacturers change production methods and machinery over the years so new parts may not fit the same branded revolver from the 1970's, 80's or 90's. As the revolvers are hand fitted and finished in the 'old world' method, each is slightly unique and some parts will require additional fitting/finishing for perfection on your revolver(holding on to your old parts to use as a guide/template is recommended).
