New Vintage Millinery Hat Veil Netting, 16-18” Wide, 34 Yards, Green, France

Please check out this worthwhile organization on Facebook. This is a new, unused bolt of vintage milliner’s hat netting, labeled Made in France, approx 16” wide. It appears to be complete – I counted about 58 layers, and the bolt is about 11” wide which brings it to about 34 yards as labeled (this should be mostly continuous yards, but I did notice what looks like at least one break in the length, hard to tell on the bolt). Unique weave pattern, in a very pretty sort of medium-dark mossy green color which is labeled as “Cont Green” as shown on the original label. I believe the color is consistent, but please allow for possible minor age variations. I didn’t notice any tears in the netting, but please allow for the possibility as this has not been removed from the bolt, and I’m not sure if this is common due to handling or mounting on the bolt, but this seems to be in very good condition, presumably not previously off the bolt, and in unused and crisp condition. I also have 2 other similar netting lots (see last photo FYI only – the other 2 are NOT included in this listing), estimated to be from the 1930s-1950s. I plan to mail this on the original bolt which will have to be supported by a cardboard box, but shipping should be less if folded without the bolt so that’s an option too.
