This bat weighs 26 oz. Denny Helmig's name is synonymous with slow pitch softball and to honor the late legend, Worth is releasing 1,000 of these Steele's Hawk Limited Edition bats! This 12.25" barrel slow pitch bat will be crafted in a 2-piece, all-composite build and it will have Worth's XL (1/2 ounce) barrel load to it. That XL loading from Worth usually allows the bat to feel similar to what other brands refer to as a "slightly end-loaded" bat. The barrel is crafted from the X434 composite material which should allow for elite performance. And the update that we are very excited about for this version of the bat is the Opti Grip knob. This knob will be smaller in size than most slow pitch bat knobs. The benefit of having this smaller knob is that a player can lay their bottom 1 or 2 fingers over (or even under) the knob. This will allow the batter to have a more comfortable handle on the bat and even increase the leverage that they have when swinging it.
