Description: The New Yorker Magazine, October 16 1943, the complete issue in gorgeous shape. Ludwig Bemelmans illustrated the cover. The pages are crisp and clean, bright white without a hint of foxing or any other staining, no writing, nothing missing, tight to the staples. Strictly graded Fine- it is as-new but with a 1/2" split at the bottom of the spine; it was put away when brand new (along with many others we have) by an obsessive New Yorker collector from whom we acquired it, untouched since new until now. Shipped in an archival sleeve with backing board. We have many other beautiful New Yorkers online now so please take a look. If there is an issue you are after please let us know. The pictures we show in all of our listings are of the actual item available, we don't use stock photos.
