Construction: The basis of the airplane's lightweight yet durable construction is its wing structure, which is framed with soldered spring steel. It's then covered with a lightweight, aerodynamic material that's heat welded at the edges. The fuselage is hollow plastic that's flexible to absorb landings, whether planned or ill-advised. The rubber band is overlapped inside the fuselage to give it more power than a simple single-loop band. It's connected to a 7-1/2" propeller mounted on a brass bearing and spring which kicks the prop loose so it can spin freely after the motor has unwound.
