It is high enough to make a nice kitchen island as well. It has one drawer in the center of the front, and the drop leaf is on the back side making it expandable if more space is needed. I am unsure of the age or origins of the table. It has a storage shelf low, and is made of solid wood, with a butcher block wood top. It is quite heavy and stable. It its natural finish, it will fit into virtually any kitchen décor. It is 37” tall, 20” deep, 32” deep with the leaf up, 46” long, the lower shelf sits at 9” high.
