The Samurai Bottle is a special edition of Nikka whisky that represents the spirit of the samurai, the warriors of feudal Japan. "Feudal Japan was a period in Japanese History from 1185-1603 when a military dictatorship ruled the country through a system of land ownership and military service". This Collector's piece comes with the original felt lined box and unused Speed Pourer still sealed in plastic. The Yoroi armour is made of metal as is the helmet crest is called a "maedate" which is a decorative piece attached to the front of the helmet, often displaying the samurai's family crest or a symbolic image. Bottle is clear glass and embossed on the back and stands about 9 3/4 inches tall including helmet. Original bottle labels still intact on both front and back. Box is in very good condition with Japanese script and slight shelf wear.
