Firewire (or thunderbolt) connection only, please do not use firewire to USB converters, these can fry the scanner's main board. You can safely use the original Apple Firewire to Thunderbolt 2 and Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 adapters in a chain.*****Good condition, normal signs of use. Few marks on the housing and front plate. Unlike other units online this one had been fully serviced: - Complete strip down, film transport frame taken apart and cleaned.- Metal guide rails removed, brass bearings uncluttered and new grease applied.- First surface mirror removed, cleaned, re-seated.- Focus assembly worm gear checked, lube applied. Extra fixing added into nylon gear.- Film carriage worm gear cleaned, new lube applied.- Plastic main motor shaft connector replaced with a strong metal connector. Tested & checked, works well.****** Comes with: FH-869S (medium format film strip holder) FH-835S (35mm film strip holder) FH-835M (35mm mounted slide holder) - FireWire cable, UK or US power cable (depending on your location) ****** Please note the scanner doesn't come with software. Nikon Scan 4 can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website. You will need a modified driver if you want to use that with Windows 7 or 10. I would recommend to get a copy of VueScan Professional instead if you want to use the scanner with modern machines.******Will be double boxed for safe delivery.
