Description: I've been searching for this 'Bart Simpson' vintage drinking glass for years. I've never been able to find one. The only images I can find online anywhere of this exact glass are from 1991's "TMNT 2: Secret of the Ooze". I was looking for this glass to display along with my TMNT movie props & replicas. I know they were finished filming "Secret of the Ooze" by Nov/Dec 1990, so this Bart glass has to be from 1990. I haven't been able to find out anything about this glass & have NEVER seen another one like it - anywhere! I can't even find old stock photos of this glass online. I'm sure this glass wasn't made special for the movie bc "The Simpsons" were huge in 1990 & I'm sure they just got this glass from any store. It is interesting that, in the few scenes that feature the Bart glass, it is always purposely positioned for Bart to face the cameras. I was able to have a small, limited run of these drink glasses produced. When theyre gone...theyre gone! We studied the film & recreated the graphic of 'Bart Simpson' just as he appears on the glass. We even located nice, thick glasses that are the same shape as the glass seen on screen! (See my pics). These are real genuine drinking glasses & you certainly can drink from them. The graphic is applied on the outside of the glass. I recommend to 'hand wash' only...do NOT wash in dish washer. "Anti - Mutagen" is not included! 'When they're GONE.......they're GONE!!!'
