Far less realistic than the fare of today and as such, often less stressful in a way and a lot shorter (though the lack of continues in some titles and 1 hit deaths can be frustrating). There's something kind of romantic or nostalgic about the chip-tunes and some are really catchy; I almost prefer them to the Sega Master System titles & tunes, which, to it's credit, had some great games. If you want to see some of these games being played, I recommend the show 'Gamecenter CX'. A Japanese comedian, Arino, plays through majoritively Famicom games on the show and the show provides some laughs, insights and tips.
