Description: Lovely antique porcelain covered sugar bowl by early Morimura Brothers, Japan.This beautiful piece features a hand painted pattern of gold encrusted flowers andgold painted 'netting' on a white scalloped base. There is some gold loss on the handles, otherwise it is in excellent pre-owned condition.The body of the bowl measures approximately 4 1/2" in diameter and approximately 6 1/2" handle to handle.The 'Maruki' backstamp dates this bowl to the 1910 period.
